Why a One-to-One?
For those who find regular yoga class times difficult, wish to further their own practice in a particular aspect of yoga and develop a personal practice, or find that a general class is not suitable for their requirements due to pregnancy, illness, injury or specific life circumstances.
How we get started
There is an initial hour long consultation session where student and teacher discuss the student’s requirements with some asana (posture work) and breath-work forming an assessment of the student’s requirements. A relaxation is always offered at the end of this session. After the consultation session, if we wish to proceed, it will then be arranged for the first One-to-One session at the next suitable time. Over time the student progresses and the personal practice is reviewed and amended as needed.
One-To-One sessions can be booked to work around student’s commitments and can be flexibly arranged as a weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, every 6 or 8 weeks… etc session.
Why are One-to-Ones so costly?
They really are not. The value in the One-to-One is that is is specifically tailored to you and takes time to prepare. You benefit from total attention during the session and also receive a personally tailored home practice sheet (from the second meeting) so you can be confident with your practice at home between sessions. For example during pregnancy you can opt for a one-to-one session every 4-6 weeks to check your progress with your practice and have the home practice updated as your pregnancy progresses.

For private couple sessions, fees are dependent upon assessment of each individual’s particular requirements.
